Sikhs are sincere spiritual seekers associated with Sikhism , a monotheistic religion that originated in the 15th century, in the Punjab region in India. They are based on the revelations of Guru Nanak - an extraordinary incarnation of God . The term Sikh has its origin in the words शिष्य ( śiṣya ), meaning a disciple or a student. They emphasize charity and working for a better society. This section is a WIP as there is much we do to improve it.
