About the Orthodox Church:
The Eastern Orthodox Church,
officially the Orthodox Catholic
Church, is the second-largest Christian
church, with approximately 200–260
million baptized members.It operates
as a communion of autocephalous
churches, each governed by its
bishops in local synods, although
roughly half of Eastern Orthodox
Christians live in Russia. The church
has no central doctrinal or
governmental authority analogous
to the Bishop of Rome.
The Eastern Orthodox Church shared
communion with the Roman Catholic
Church until the East–West Schism in
1054, triggered by disputes over
doctrine, especially the authority
of the Pope.

duty to help those who
are poor and marginalized,
have been neglected. He
added that the church had
focused in trivial issues, and
as such should not be so
prone to condemn, and that
priests should be more welcoming.
He said the confessional should be used
to motivate people to better themselves.
While he has said that the greatest
poverty is "the lack of Christ," and
the "only one real kind of poverty"
is "not living as children of God and
brothers and sisters in Christ", Francis
has also been very outspoken against
Pope Francis has courageously
confronted many difficult issues

for the family as a manifestation
of God in its fullness.
So in summary, Pope Francis
has all the hallmarks of a
revolutionary, he has seen
the light of God!
