Sri Ma Anandamayi

Sri Ma Anandamayi - was similar to Ramakrishna, a devotee of God that progressed spontaneously thru all known spiritual paths at lightning speed. She declared that she was never associated with the temporary body. Her parents also were highly developed spiritually. She had no schooling and relied completely on her inner wisdom.

She was widely available in India, but never left her homeland. She was recognized as fully realized being - visitors were from ordinary people to the Prime Minister of India. In any town she visited the entire town was filled with a magic bliss, light and happiness.

Everyone that met her, or even at a distance via devotion or prayer to her, was transformed. Once she was traveling in a car thru Bombay, and asked to stop at about 8 locations unknown to her. At each place she left the car and went straight to a home were it turned out was a devotee of her in the last hours of life and praying for her blessings! Such depth of love and vision she had. This was certainly the level of a Buddha or Boddhisatva.
